World War II armor roars to life next weekend as the Summer Tank Demonstration Weekend returns to the American Heritage Museum on Saturday, August 13th and Sunday, August 14th! See our M4A3 Sherman "Liberty" and M24 Chaffee along with special demonstrations of the M18 Hellcat WWII Tank Destroyer, the rare M26 Pershing WWII and Korean War heavy tank, along with the German Jagdpanzer 38t Hetzer Tank Destroyer and German OT-810 (Czech variant of Sd.Kfz. 251) Halftrack on the tank driving grounds each day for the Parade of Armor at 11am and 2pm daily! Rides and drives on the Sherman and Chaffee will be available and running all day, so there will always be action taking place on the driving grounds!

Advance Sale Tickets for Tank Demonstration Weekend Now Available!
Tickets for the Tank Demonstration Weekend on August 13th and 14th are now on sale! The narrated Parade of Armor Tank Demonstrations will be taking place at 11am and 2pm each day on the driving area behind the museum. Bring a blanket and sit on the hill or bring folding chairs and sit on the flat areas at the top and bottom of the hill and watch the action. Our special World War II veteran guests will be joining our narrator throughout the day to tell their stories. 
Included in your admission ticket is admission to all three buildings on the grounds including the aircraft hangar and antique car museum that are only open on these limited special event weekends!
The American Heritage Museum, featuring over 67,000 square feet of immersive exhibits and over 95 rare tanks and military vehicles will be open along with our two additional special buildings that are only open for special event weekends. Visit our Vintage Aircraft Hangar with 12 aircraft from 1909 through 1945 and our Indy Car, Midget, and Sprint car collection and our Classic Automobile Museum with 25 vintage automobiles from 1900 through 1946 on display.
 

Food, beverage, and local Ice Cream is available onsite, but picnics are encouraged as well! It's an exciting event for the entire family! 

Admission:
Tickets are $25 for Adults, $20 for Seniors and Veterans, and $15 for Children Under 12. Children 3 and under, World War II, and Korean War veterans are free (no ticket required). Tickets are available for advance purchase online (links below) or you may pay by cash or major credit card at the gate on the day of arrival.

Gates open at 9:00am each day and close at 5:00pm each day. Allow at least 3-4 hours for your visit!
