Veterans Institute Summit is a complimentary event created to inspire business professionals and organizations utilizing actionable insights from The Walt Disney Company's Heroes Work Here initiative. Created to hire, train and support military veterans and military spouses, Heroes Work Here has resulted in more than 10,000 veterans joining The Walt Disney Company since its launch in 2012.
Veterans Institute Summit is intended to help companies and organizations learn how to build or improve effective veteran-hiring initiatives of their own. The Summit will include advice and insights from Veterans Service Organizations, firsthand perspectives shared by veterans about their transition to the civilian workforce, and best practices from organizations that have created their own successful programs delivered through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and Disney Institute content.
Who Should Attend?
Veterans Institute Summit is intended for organizations seeking corporate best practices to recruit, hire, support, and retain veterans and military spouses. Attendees must be 18 years or older and currently reside in the United States or Canada, excluding Quebec.
How Can I Attend?
Veterans Institute Summit is a complimentary event. Registration is now open for individuals to attend online via live stream or in person at ESPN Wide World of Sports located at Walt Disney World® Resort. Please note that in-person event registration is limited.
