Join NEP staff to dabble in the arts with wood working, wood turning, leather work and painting.
Woodworking and wood turning will be done on small power tools including lathes, band saws, jointers and drill press. Learn new skills to create projects from wood including Lidded Boxes, Pens, Ornaments, Tops, Band Saw boxes and Wooden Bowls. Some wood turning experience is required for wooden bowls – all other classes are beginner friendly.
ARTS – Durham, NH

For wood bowl classes: Sign up for the Saturday 2/25 class or both the 3/14 and 3/21 classes.
Leatherwork events introduce you to the art of Leather-craft. Learn how to cut, stamp, dye, and sew leather to create some fascinating projects. The first date (1/10) is specifically for beginners and we hope to complete a project on each class date.
Class style instruction will be provided for each Arts session. Space is limited to 4 per time-slot.
NEW THIS SEASON: Paint Night! We will show the group how to paint a common scene following step by step instruction. This will be as much fun and social as it is creative. We’ll have 2 different themes so sign up for one or both. This ought to be fun!! Space is limited to 10 painters.
You are invited to register for up to 6 classes that you have not taken before. Open Shop dates are designed to finish projects that may not be complete or to start a project of your own choosing.
